Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to develop and maintain internal platforms with a strong emphasis on backend Node.js development, while also contributing to front-end components and blockchain-integrated systems. The role involves building scalable services, integrating Web3 technologies, and supporting decentralized application workflows.

Technical Architecture

Frontend (Web2 + Web3) ● React + Vite for UI ● Mantine for design system ● React Router for navigation ● Axios for REST API calls ● Auth0 SDK for authentication ● Wallet integration (e.g., MetaMask via ethers.js or web3.js) ● Transaction status feedback and confirmations

Backend ● Node.js + Express REST API ● Auth0 JWT validation for protected routes ● Business logic validation before blockchain calls ● Blockchain interaction layer using ethers.js ● MongoDB for off-chain persistence ● Prisma and Mongoose for schema and runtime operations

API & Blockchain Interaction Flow

1. Client authenticates via Auth0
2. Client optionally connects a wallet
3. Client calls protected booking API
4. Backend validates request and invokes smart contract
5. Blockchain transaction is mined
6. Backend stores transaction hash and metadata
7. Client receives booking confirmation

Security Considerations ● JWT-based API protection (Auth0) ● Wallet ownership verification via signature challenges ● Separation of concerns between Web2 identity and Web3 address ● Minimal on-chain data to reduce attack surface and gas costs ● Environment-based private key management for backend services

Deployment Strategy ● Frontend deployed as static assets (Vercel / Netlify) ● Backend deployed to Node or serverless environment ● Smart contracts deployed to testnet or private blockchain ● Environment variables manage RPC URLs, private keys, and contract addresses
